I was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended Colby-Sawyer College with a declared BFA. As a freshman I had 4 of my artworks excepted into the Senior exhibit. Since College I have continued painting in my free time. I now have works of art in homes around the US. I have earned 3 certificates of merit from The Penocotheque Museum in Luxembourg. I had a solo exhibit in Harry's Roadhouse Restaurant in Santa Fe,NM from June 20th to August 15th 2022 and currently have art in Native Wings Coffee House, Santa Fe, NM. I will be published in the 31st edition of Artistonish Magazine.
All my works are done with a pallet knife.
I use an impasto style of painting in attempt to capture the core of movement and mood that I believe eminates from the subject matter. My art is a representation of how my mind's eye interprets emotions, thoughts and visuals. I prefer bold and exaggerated colors that intensify and evoke feelings in the viewer. My subject matter fluctuates between true Abstracts and Impressionism. I chose thought provoking feelings as well as scenic views that I find wonder and beauty in.
All of my works are signed, unframed originals varying in size. I gladly welcome commissions.
